Day by day passed, finally I am in Phase 3. The final phase of this military bootcamp. Trust me, once you guys are able to get through phases 1 and 2, this phase 3 will feel less pressure because we are used to the pressure during the last 2 months.

In phase 3, we will learn the React framework for building a web app or a mobile app with React Native. In addition, we also learn about micro services such as graphql, redish, docker and so on.

I never imagined before that I would also learn to build mobile applications on Hacktiv8. Honestly, this is really beyond my expectations. If I flashback, I'm very proud of myself being able to gain all this knowledge.

Phase 3 will seem like it is going really fast, no no no, it is actually very very express. Learning and examinations will be completed until week 3 only. But I'm happy, I found myself again. I met logic because at the end of phase 3, the test was to create a mobile game application using React Native which is use a logic not just about memorizing a pattern and setup. In my batch, I got the final test of making a crossword puzzle game with the React Native stack. Well, even though I didn't make it to the finish but it's okay. I tell you this, you have to leave your perfection behind when you decide to join Hacktiv8 just to make you not going crazy. Trust me, better is better than best.

At the end of week 3, we have to present our ideas for the final project which will be presented to the hiring partners. At the end of week 3 it will also be announced who passed (graduate) and who did not pass (participant). Students who do not pass do not need to attend a graduation day or presentation of the final project. Unfortunately, my comrade in arms since phase 0, my friend, Eli, who was so close that we often slept together, cry together, and of course work together did not pass. It's really sad remembering everything we've been through together. But yes, life will continue to rotate regardless of the feelings we feel. Eli deftly applied for many vacancies and interviews while I was working on the final project for one week.

After Eli left, in one batch, the female students were Me, Afi, and Angela. Afi and Angela are lucky to be placed in one team. Meanwhile, I am the only woman in my team. There I felt uncomfortable because all day for 7 days I only communicated with all my male friends. Not because they are not polite or something else, but I do feel uncomfortable when I as a woman is alone. There was a time when I really couldn't do it with my team at the lab, so I decided to go to campus at afternoon and work outside the lab. I don't know what happened to me because actually my friends are all fine. I'm the weird one. I don't feel comfortable hanging around with men myself. Finally I tried to communicate it with my friends because I was afraid it would also affect the final project performance later. Finally, over time, the discomfort can be overcome.

31 January 2019 Graduation Day

My team brings a project that we really take, Famify, gamify your family. An application for families with features:

1. Parents challenge their children

2. If the child does the challenge from the parents, they will get a reward points which can be exchanged for some prizes

3. Realtime group chat between family members such as whatsApp group for sharing information and pictures

4. Detect the child's location so that parents can monitor the child's position

So far, we are very proud of our project because initially we only planned to work on points 1 and 2 but because it was completed faster, we added 2 new features.

Thats all ...
